Audiotube enters into a Global Distribution licensing deal with Yusuf / Cat Stevens

Audiotube, a UK based Independent digital distributor pioneering fair trade music distribution, has entered into a Global Distribution licensing deal with Cat-O-Log Records, Yusuf / Cat Stevens’ Record Label. The partnership will seamlessly facilitate Global distribution out to the World’s biggest Digital Service Providers including; Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, YouTube Music, Pandora, Deezer, Google, Alibaba, Tencent, VEVO and more.

About Yusuf / Cat Stevens

Better known to music fans as Cat Stevens, Yusuf is one of the most beloved singer-songwriters in the history of popular music. Emerging from London’s folk-club scene in the mid 1960s he quickly achieved pop stardom with hits such as “I Love My Dog”, “Matthew & Son” and “The First Cut is the Deepest”. After a near fatal bout of TB in 1968, he re-emerged as a long-haired troubadour and spiritual seeker singing heartfelt songs of peace that resonated in the hearts of fans the world over. A string of hugely successful albums, including the multi-platinum selling Tea For the Tillerman and Teaser and the Firecat, overflowed with magical songs such as “Father & Son”, “Wild World”, “Morning Has Broken” and “Peace Train” cementing Yusuf’s status as one of the greatest songwriters of his generation. At the end of the 1970s Yusuf converted to Islam and walked away from his superstardom to dedicate himself to charity, education and family. For almost three decades he worked tirelessly for the betterment of mankind receiving some of the highest international accolades for his efforts in humanitarian relief. In 2006, to the delight of his millions of fans, Yusuf returned to the music industry. He has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame and to this day continues to record and perform his uniquely imaginative style of music spreading a universal message of peace and unity.
