This track is the first single from their new album, Temporary Pleasure, and features Chris Keating from Yeasayer, it was released on August 3, 2009 and gained much coverage from big name DJ's and BBC Radio1. Which in turn helped it enter the UK top forty and become SMD's biggest selling single to date.

I'll let Kate from the band describe this one... "I guess this is our '500 Miles' as it's a devotional song about distance. I love the 'bedroom metal' guitar sound John captured in the intro, I had so much fun playing around with tones with him - he's so quick at dialling stuff up! The hugest sounds on this record are from cranking little amps, when we were adding the extra guitar lines to the live tracks John set up a circle of small amps at his place and I sat in the middle basking in them. I love how Nestor's yelps spilled onto the drums mics in the break. I think this was recorded on the day Nestor broke five of the studio's snare drums... let that be our little secret!"

Hotly tipped for big things in the wake of a hole blown wide open in Punk by the likes of the Gallows, Lovvers do not disappoint. This track is full of rawkus energy which is equally, i'm led to believe, translated to their live performances. In true garage style the quality of the recording is grainy and basic, which does nothing but amplify the intensity of the track...

"You! Me! Dancing!" is a song by Welsh indie pop band Los Campesinos!. It was released as a 7" single on 4 June 2007 on Wichita. This song was #72 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007. The single version appears on the Sticking Fingers Into Sockets EP, and a rerecorded, slightly longer and slower version of the song appears on the bands' debut album Hold On Now, Youngster.... The song is about the "Twisted by Design" club night that perverted promoter Gary "Twisted" Anderson, who stalks Little My, put on in Cardiff, Wales while the band was beginning. The blogspot The Harvey Price Cup describes Mr Anderson as "a notorious local gay, incessant worrier and paranoid schizophrenic".

"The International Tweexcore Underground" is a song by Welsh indie pop band Los Campesinos!. It was released on 15 October 2007 on iTunes, and was released physically on 22 October 2007 on Wichita. The title of the track is a parody of a series of 7" singles on K Records entitled The International Pop Underground. K Records is home to Calvin Johnson, who originally appeared on one of the B-sides of the single - covers of songs by Heavenly and Black Flag. Both Amelia Fletcher and Henry Rollins are namechecked in the single. K Records are further referenced by Los Campesinos! in the lyrics of "Knee Deep at ATP", a song which appears on their debut album. This track is not featured on the band's debut album. The video for the single was recorded at The Opera House in Toronto � a venue that Los Campesinos! would return to on April 1, 2009 as part of their North American tour.

While the album was released by Original Signal Records and the band's own White Drugs label, the singles for all of their albums have been released exclusively in the United Kingdom, through Wichita Recordings. The single was released on 7-inch vinyl and limited to 1, 500 copies. The B-side song, "Lab Rats", is an outtake from the album's recording sessions. The cover artwork was designed by guitarist Joby J. Ford.

Cell Mates" is a song by the by the Los Angeles-based punk rock band The Bronx, released as the first single from their 2009 album Mariachi El Bronx. The album marks a divergence from the band's usual hardcore punk and hard rock sound in favor of a mariachi style. In June 2008 the band posted a video to YouTube of themselves performing "Cell Mates" in mariachi style under the name "Mariachi El Bronx", an alter ego persona that the band has used to promote and perform the album.

Don't You Wanna Be Relevant? is one of the many Cribs tracks that did not feature on an album, but do not think that is because it wasn't good enough to do so, on the contrary, this is one of their most celebrated tracks among hardcore Cribs fans. The video is interesting too, completely animated it features the band playing their instruments, the more they play the more 'ill' they become, eventually looking like zombies...

Don't You Wanna Be Relevant?/Our Bovine Public" is the third single to be taken from Wakefield indie rock band The Cribs' third album, Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever. It is a Double A-side of the album's opening track, accompanied by a new, non-album track titled 'Don't You Wanna Be Relevant?' The song "Our Bovine Public" was written as a dig at fellow Yorkshire band The Pigeon Detectives who originally played Cribs songs when they were unsigned. The line 'You'd never exist if you wasn't generic,' which is repeated throughout the song, is a reference to the fact that many bands around all sound the same and are part of an indie music scene which is often criticised for allowing bands with no indviduality or talent to be successful.
