Mother-to-be Christina Aguilera has exposed all for the January 2007 issue of Marie Claire.

In true Demi Moore style Christina has stripped down and posed naked for the monthly woman’s magazine. She is pictured on the cover wearing nothing more than a short brown leather jacket and a deep golden tan.

Christina also imparts some personal details about the pregnancy and its conception, in an in-depth interview to accompany the revealing images.

She admits that she and husband Jordan Bratman had been planning for a baby, but had not expected her to fall pregnant so quickly. “We were planning on starting to try after the (Back to Basics) tour. And so, I had gone off the Pill to prepare my body, because I didn’t know how much time it would take” she told Marie Claire. “Except with Power Egg and Super Sperm here … I’m like, Oh, my God, can you believe it just happened?”

At this time there was still one month left on her tour schedule and she became somewhat paranoid about the safety of the unborn child. “There are so many things that could go wrong — somebody could slip, somebody could fall, I could fall,” says Aguilera, who wore a heart monitor during performances. “There was no way … I was going to jeopardize my baby for my show.”

Views on the Aguilera ‘Sexy Mama’ cover are mixed with many feeling that the stylizing of the shot is tacky. It certainly seems to fall some way short in the class department when compared to the now famous Demi Moore Vanity Fair images. Demi Moore was photographed for the prestigious publication by Annie Leibovitz in the early nineties.

In June 2006 Britney Spears preceded Christina Aguilera when she posed pregnant and naked for Harper’s Bazaar. The trend now seems set to run ….

It has come as no great surprise that Amy Winehouse has cancelled all remaining dates of her present tour.

In a statement released last night the troubled singer admitted that the anxiety caused by her husband’s recent incarceration had made it impossible for her to continue to perform live.

“I can’t give it my all on stage without my Blake,” she said. “I’m so sorry but I don’t want to do the shows half-heartedly. I love singing. My husband is everything to me and without him it’s just not the same.”

Concert promoter, Live Nation told the BBC there were no plans to reschedule the nixed gigs and that fans should return their tickets to the outlet where they had purchased them for a full refund. It was confirmed that the forthcoming concerts for Cardiff, Dublin, Manchester and London had been abandoned.

Winehouse had been scheduled to perform in Bournemouth yesterday evening (Tuesday 27 November) to a crowd of 6,000 fans. The cancellation came too late for many who had already set out to attend the sell out show, with some of those driving to the venue being notified by electronic signs on the motorway.

A spokesperson for the singer stated: “Amy Winehouse has cancelled all remaining live and promotional appearances for the remainder of the year on the instruction of her doctor. The rigours involved in touring and the intense emotional strain that Amy has been under in recent weeks have taken their toll. Amy has been ordered to take complete rest and deal with her health issues. Refunds will be issued from the point of purchase.”

The troubled tour started badly earlier this month in Birmingham when Winehouse left the stage in tears, heckled by boos from the disappointed crowd. Very little of the tour has been well received, with accounts of late starts, 48 hour benders and consistently poor performances. At one recent gig, at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, it was reported that Amy walked off halfway through her set, leaving a backing singer to pick up on lead vocals.

The troubles in her private life seemed to hit crisis point at the beginning of November when she witnessed her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, being led away to prison, after a hearing in an east London court. Fielder-Civil is accused of attempting to bribe a pub landlord in an assault case and he is due to go to trial next year.

In spite of her problematic life style and continued reports of drug abuse, Winehouse’s career has soared since her second album Back to Black won her a Brit award earlier this year. The LP is the biggest-selling album of the year in Britain and has sold 3.3 million copies worldwide.

It was expected and it is probably way overdue that these gigs have been cancelled. The question is, will the fans buy tickets again for her gigs if they are not sure what they will get after such erratic behaviour? Her mother Janis hopes that this break from touring will help Amy get herself together and will give her time to start work on a new album…..Who knows what the future holds for Amy Winehouse. Let’s hope it’s some good news…..

Pete Doherty, Babyshambles frontman and ex boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss, is in the middle of recording his first solo album.

Doherty has apparently written 12 tracks for the planned solo LP, and has already recorded three of them in late night studio sessions with producer Jake Foir.

Speaking to NME, Jake Fior confirmed that recording was going well and that the normally troubled Doherty is in great spirits …. “It sounds slower and more intimate [than Babyshambles]” said Fior, “Pete’s writing is more universal, rather than about personal experiences.”

This solo project has caused concern at Parlophone, Babyshambles record label. Parlophone are reportedly angered about the secret sessions and are unhappy about Doherty recording outside of their control. Fior explained that they plan to present the album to the label once it is completed, and will hopefully avoid any halt on it’s release.

In contrast, Pete’s Babyshambles fellow bandmembers - bassist Drew McConnell, guitarist Mick Whitnall and drummer Adam Ficek - have given their blessings to the solo project, and are all expected to contribute to the album.

Fior reassured Doherty’s fan base that the troubled artist is ‘still on top form’ despite his recent heroin relapse. Apparently Pete is healthy and enjoying living a quiet life in rural Wiltshire.

“I just spent a weekend with him - just me, him and the cats,” recalled Fior. “He’s out there in a 28-room mansion - it’s very ’60s-style and cool, I keep expecting Marianne Faithfull to come walking through one of the doors!”

Amy Winehouse reportedly played another shocker at the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday night. Sounds like things are in meltdown for this wonderfully talented young woman.

The Mirror newspaper reports today that the tour is nearing breaking point after her chaotic performances at the weekend in London with each night getting worse and worse.

On Saturday she allegedly locked herself in her hotel room after a 48 hour bender and refused to go to the venue. When she eventually got to the venue she arrived on stage really late and then slurred her way through half the words and was booed by many in the audience with lots leaving early demanding refunds. It can be no coincidence that her husband who is in remand in prison for perverting the course of justice was refused bail and may not come out of prison until after Christmas.

Her own website forum is full of raging arguments between fans and complaints about shambolic gigs they have attended and others trying to defend her. It seems even her most loyal fans are turning against her.

Maybe, it’s time someone stood in and makes her get the help obviously she so desperately needs. Easy to say I know. I can’t imagine what her family must be going through watching her life careering completely out of control. I have seen friends go down to the bottom of the barrel and there is nothing you can do unless they really want to help themselves. Let’s hope that day comes sooner rather than later for Amy.

R&B Singers Ne-Yo and R Kelly’s have fallen out due to Ne-Yo being dumped from R Kelly’s current tour after just one week on the road.

R Kelly’s team claim that it was over contractual issues but Ne-Yo claims this is untrue and it was really due to the audience’s preferring his performance! Ne-Yo had a huge hit with ‘So Sick’ check out the video now.

It certainly sounds like this means war or is it just handbags at dawn? Interestingly, this is not the first time that R Kelly who has had hits with ‘Trapped in the Closet’ and ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ has had problems with fellow tour mates when he was kicked off the Jay-Z tour in 2004 and so decided to sue Jay-Z for $75m. He claimed that he was forced to abandon the concert by Jay-Z’s ’spite and jealousy’. Sound familiar?

Alicia Keys third studio album ‘As I Am’ has stormed the US Billboard charts today with a massive 742,000 copies in the USA according the Nielsen SoundScan the company that collates the Billboard charts.

Incredibly, it is the best sales week for a solo female artists since the Norah Jones ‘Feels Like Home’ surprise smash hit that sold 1million copies in 2004.

The surgeon who operated on Kanye West’s Mother the day before she died walked off the famous Larry King show in the US after announcing that “I have a tremendous amount of love and respect for the West family and they have asked me not to go on,” he said. “And I’ve said from the very beginning, I don’t have a side in this. They are my side and so I’m going to respect their wishes.”

Dr Jan Adams operated on Donda West, 58 -who died at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Nov. 10 - a day after she underwent breast reduction, tummy tuck and liposuction procedures. Theories say that she may have died of a heart attack, pulmonary embolism or accidental overdose of painkillers prescribed after the procedures, Adams told the Los Angeles Times.

The coroner has said early indications suggest West died from surgical complications. An official cause of death won’t be determined for weeks, pending the results of toxicology and other tests.

Janis Winehouse gives another heartfelt interview where announces that she hopes the separation of her daughter from Blake Fielder-Civil her husband who is currently in police custody for charges of perverting the course of justice in his GBH case which is still pending would be a good thing. Although, Amy is apparently devastated it seems that her Mother as do many of her friends feel that this could be the best thing that has happened to her and may help her kick the drugs whilst he is behind bars.

The article which is due to be released in First Magazine in the UK this week is a very sad addition to the ongoing sorry story that has become Amy’s life. I can only feel sorry for both Amy’s parents because it must be so difficult to watch your daughter falling deeper into the mire but feel helpless to be able to help.

Let’s hope that as her Mother is right and this separation will help Amy get back on track because she is such a great talent and is obviously suffering hugely at the moment. Wouldn’t it be fabulous to see her back to how she was when her first album came out fresh faced and untouched by the fame and notoriety. It’s almost as if she is a different person from those days.

Leona Lewis the UK’s X Factor winner from 2006 has blown the Spice Girls Greatest Hits compilation away in the album chart battle which played out on Sunday in the UK.

Leona’s album ‘Spirit’ sold more than 375,000 copies in seven days which is 12,000 more than the Arctic Monkeys 2006 release ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ - thankfully the legends that are Oasis still hold the record for fastest selling British Album, selling 813,000 in 1997.

It’s all good news for Leona Lewis this week with her single ‘Bleeding Love’ also being number one in the singles chart.

Whilst the Spice Girls ‘Greatest Hits’ album made it’s debut at number two in the charts. The Spice Girls performance on Children in Need on Friday obviously couldn’t beat the phenomenal appeal of 2006 X Factor winner Leona.

Unless you have been living in a cave you would by now know that the Spice Girls have jumped on the reunion band wagon and are heaving their PR machines to full throttle…..

First came the press conference at the O2 arena where they announced their imminent tour and Greatest Hits compilation release, which would be a certain Christmas stocking filler….

Then came the release of the tickets to fans who had to registered on their website and the flurry that meant the tickets sold out in seconds.

Next the headline grabbing video Headlines - (Friendship Never Ends). If you haven’t yet seen this video you have to watch it now click on the link above. The video features some very desperate attempts by Victoria Beckham and Geri Halliwell at being contentious - Victoria trying to be sexy in some s&m outfit and Geri showing her six pack!! Both attempts seem very desperate and bizarre….seriously don’t take my word for it check it out here now. Luckily, for the girls both Melanie C and Emma Bunton bring it back by just singing to camera looking gorgeous…nice. Glad to see some girls are serious about the music. The rumour is that all was not well on this video shoot with very diva like behaviour which is not a good sign!

So, now the PR machine is shifting up a gear the ladies through in a headline grabbing debut live performance for the first time since their reunion was announced, at the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Los Angeles.

The girls performed two songs - ‘Headlines - (Friendship - Never Ends)’ and their classic ‘Stop’ on the night and looking at the pictures they looked great.
