Take That are a British pop boy band formed by Nigel Martin Smith in Manchester in 1990 famous for having the former member Robbie Williams. After success in the 1990s as a five person act, a reformed four man version of the band achieved new success in the 2006 minus Robbie Williams. The sold more than 25 million records between the years of 1991-1996.
